Victorian Penthouse
Perched above the rooftops of Hayes Valley is an incredible opportunity for creativity. Our client came to us with a 3-story Victorian. The façade is a listed historic resource and alterations will be very challenging. Thankfully, there is a large attic space above the topmost story that will allow us to tuck a penthouse floor above the top flat without being seen from the street or altering the historic façade.
The lot is a rare through-lot with frontage on a main street at one end and an alleyway at the rear. Thanks to this configuration, our new penthouse will have killer views of the entire city of San Francisco.
As a complete departure from the frosted Victorian on the front, we are proposing an ultra-modern style for the entire rear development.
This project is still in the design phases, but we hope to start the Planning process in the very near future.
